Impact

What I actually built.

I put these systems in place myself. I did not inherit a mature organisation.

  • BuiltFeb 2022

Founded Red Rocket Software in February 2022.

Started with a small team and built an international, distributed technology organisation.

  • Scaled44 people

The functions grew with the headcount.

Delivery, PMO, HR and recruitment, account management, sales, marketing. Peak core organisation: 44 people.

  • ProtectedCrisis leadership

Restructured under a ~$80K receivables default.

Reduced costs, resized selectively and protected core delivery capacity. The company continued operating.

How it started

Starting a company in 2022.

Founded in Kharkiv weeks before the full-scale invasion. Every decision had to hold up in practice, immediately.

  1. February 2022

    Started

Started Red Rocket Software in Kharkiv with approximately 10 people.

  2. March 2022

    Rebuilt the operating model

The war forced the business to rebuild its operating model almost immediately. Operations expanded into Poland and became increasingly distributed.

  3. Scale

    International presence

A distributed operating structure across Ukraine, Poland, Estonia and the United States, serving clients in six markets.

Commercial result

A $400K partnership, start to finish.

One deal in detail. It shows how I sell, and it is not a sales portfolio.

The opportunity originated in the United States through LinkedIn. The sales process lasted approximately two months.

I personally managed discovery, relationship development, proposal, negotiation and closing, then stayed close to delivery.

Result: an approximately $400K engagement to build an NFT / Web3 marketplace, delivered by a seven-person technology team.

Turnaround

The year a client did not pay.

What I did when the cash position stopped looking comfortable.

Problem

~$80K client default created a significant liquidity challenge.

Decision

Restructure quickly rather than allow uncontrolled burn.

Actions

Reviewed the cost structure, resized selectively, reallocated people and protected delivery.

Outcome

Business-critical functions preserved. The company continued operating.

Operating principles

How I operate.

  1. 01 / CHOOSE

Strategy is trade-offs, not a wish list.

Strong businesses decide what matters most and align resources around it.

  2. 02 / PROVE

    Prove it or change it.

Processes should create measurable outcomes. If something stops working, redesign it.

  3. 03 / OWN

    Ownership over excuses.

Problems should be solved, not passed between departments.

  4. 04 / EXECUTE

    Strategy lives in execution.

Product, commercial and operations must move together.

Product & technology

I started in engineering.

Frontend engineer first, then requirements and product, then the commercial and operational side. It means I can sit in an engineering review and a P&L review in the same day and follow both.

Exploring the next arena

Closer to the product side of gaming.

My background covers technology, operations, product and the commercial side. I've delivered online casino software for clients, and I'd like to take that experience inside a larger iGaming, sportsbook or gaming-technology company.

To be clear about what this is: software-delivery exposure to the industry, not seven years of operator-side iGaming leadership.

What's next

Complex product businesses.

I'm interested in places where strategy and execution sit close together, and where the operating problems are bigger than the ones I have already solved.
